Angered Local Hospital

Assemblin is conducting power and security installations at Angered Local Hospital in Gothenburg – Sweden’s first newly built local hospital. The property is 18,000 square metres in area, and as well as specialist clinics and operating facilities it also contains a health centre.

Assemblin’s brief encompasses all electrical installations, fire alarms, burglar alarms and access control.

“The major challenge for us lies in the size and total extent of all the installations,” says Assemblin regional manager Fredrik Allthin. Logistics and co-ordination are vital.

“Västfastigheter is responsible for the project planning, but we have some consulting input,” says Fredrik. The project is a partnering contract with NCC, which has been commissioned to build the new local hospital. The aim of the local hospital is to make specialist healthcare more accessible to citizens in north-eastern Gothenburg.
