Assemblin extends service agreement with Avinor at Oslo Airport
Avinor has signed a new framework agreement with Assemblin for the maintenance of heating and sanitation installations at Oslo Airport (Gardermoen). The agreement is valid for a period of two years, with an option to be extended for a maximum of another six years, which would correspond to a total contract value of approximately NOK 40-60 million.
For the past five years, Assemblin has had a framework agreement with Avinor regarding the [service and] maintenance of heating and sanitation installations at Oslo Airport. Following the end of the previous agreement period, the renewal of the agreement was subject to competition, with Assemblin subsequently being entrusted with the assignment for two years, with an option for this to be extended two years at a time for at most six more years.

Avinor is a stable and secure client, and this framework agreement is one of our largest service agreements. Accordingly, we are very happy to have been entrusted with this assignment again,” says Branch Manager Torgny Volden at Assemblin’s service operations in Norway.
During the previous agreement period, we had an average of four to five fitters working at the airport. Although operations were scaled-back slightly during the corona shut-down, up to 15 people work periodically with both ongoing maintenance and minor projects.
