Assemblin makes acquisition strengthening its expertise in heat pumps and increasing its market presence north-west of Stockholm
By acquiring Grillby & F100 Rör AB (“GF100”), Assemblin Heating and Sanitation strengthens its presence in the Enköping area. GF100, a niche player in the expansive heat pump segment, has 20 employees and annual sales of approximately SEK 50 million.
With nearly 60 years of history under its belt, GF100 is a reputable company specialised in installing heat pumps for the consumer and property markets, while also maintaining traditional heating and sanitation operations. With offices located in Grillby, GF100 mainly operates in Enköping, Västerås, Uppsala and northern Stockholm.
“GF100 offers superior expertise in heat pumps, for example, an appealing and expanding area, driven in particular by increased demand for renewable energy. With this acquisition, we are continuing to build a stronger base in the Stockholm area. Approximately 65 percent of the company’s sales derive from project operations and 35 percent from service assignments (including heat pump installations). Most projects include a central power plant in the form of a heat pump facility. Each year, the company also installs some 40-50 heat pumps at private residences.
