Assemblin strengthens green technology offering with acquisition of NGL Energientreprenad AB
Assemblin has acquired energy and water optimisation company NGL Energientreprenad AB (“NGLEE”), with annual sales of approximately SEK 35 million and 22 employees.
NGLEE offers services predominantly in energy optimisation, mainly by installing and fine-tuning heating/hot water circulation systems and tap water optimisation throughout the country. These measures lead to greener properties by reducing their environmental impact, optimising operating costs and giving property owners a greener footprint, as well as improving residents’ indoor environment.
“Demand for these resource and energy saving measure is high and NGLEE is one of the best players in the market. We see multiple opportunities for increased collaboration with Assemblin’s installation organisation, benefiting both parties. With this acquisition, we also strengthen our position in green technology – one of our strategic growth areas,” says Andreas Aristiadis, President and Business Area Manager, Assemblin H&S.
NGLEE’s customers include several property owners with large rental housing portfolios across Sweden as well as non-profit housing companies and tenant-owner associations. Customers include Victoriahem, Bostadsbolaget, Rikshem and SBC.
