Assemblin strengthens its presence in Kristianstad through acquisition of Sydel
Assemblin Electrical has acquired the Kristianstad-based installation and service company Sydel Industri AB (“Sydel”), which has a high degree of expertise in electrical engineering and automation for industry. Sydel generates annual sales of SEK 21 million and has 15 employees.
Sydel was founded in 1990 and installs electrical solutions, mainly for local industrial companies in and around Kristianstad. The main operations are focused on industrial installation, industrial service and preventive maintenance. Sydel is authorised to conduct all kinds of electrical and data installation, including high voltage systems, and the company is certified in accordance with ISO 9001 (quality) and ISO 14001 (environment).
“Sydel has solid industrial expertise and extensive knowledge of the facilities with which they work, which is important for their customers. The company will complement our current operations in Kristianstad well. Besides gaining a stronger local position, we will be broadening our expertise in the segment,” says Fredrik Allthin, President and Business Area Manager, Assemblin Electrical.
Sydel’s customers include The Absolut Company AB, Sveriges Stärkelseproducenter AB, Kristianstads Mejeri AB, HK Scan AB, Orkla Foods Sverige AB, C4 Energi AB Värme and C4 Teknik AB.
